Check Verification is a CybrCollect service that minimizes bad check acceptance. It does not verify that the funds are in the account but, it does verify that the checkwriter does not currently have an uncollected check in our database or the National Check Network's (NCN) database.
NCN's database is generally considered to be the premier database of its type, with more than 23 million negative records and 138 million positive records.
This service is recommended to clients with high check volume, when more than 25% of their uncollected checks are being written on closed accounts.
Either purchase a stand alone unit or use your existing POS equipment can usually be used for this service.
You will be charged a nominal amount for each verification.
If the amount of your total declined checks does not exceed your monthly invoice for this service, the service will be completely FREE for that month. This eliminates all of the financial risk involved in the cost of the verification program.
